Q - One my my users is attempting to log onto Elliott and is getting the following error:
Elliott was not completely closed or it was not completely started
A - You can usually solve this kind of problem by bringing up Task Manager, and find the running Elliott Programs like EL700*.EXE, EL800*.EXE or EL850*.EXE, depending on which version you are running, then close the task.
The most likely offender is the EL700US, EL800US or EL850US.EXE. Make sure you to find all matched programs under Apps or Background Processes.
Once you clear them all from the Task Manager, try to run Elliott again.
If that does not fix your problem, logout the user from the desktop and log back in again. In worst case scenario, reboot your machine.
