QR Code capabilities.
Be able to print and use QR codes in all forms and on items were bar codes are currently being used. Pretty sure it scanners can relay information from a QR to Elliott but would like to have the ability to use barcodes or QR codes.
Couple reasons for this is: 1) we have small items and the QR code works better for labeling than bar code. 2) QR code can hold much more data than bar codes.
Scanning QR codes is a function of the scanner. I don’t believe this is an issue. For example, at Netcellent, we implement QR codes for each employee to scan in and out of the office on Elliott time card. As for printing of QR codes, it is supported by Bartender software.

Because of the nature of QR code is 2 dimension, so it can store a lot more data than the one dimension bar code. So the issue is what's encoded in that QR code? Does that QR codes represent multiple fields? If so, that will be problematic for Elliott.

Do you think you'll be implementing QR capabilities in the future? Many of the manufacturers are using QR now and it could help improve efficiencies in receiving, stocking & shipping.
