Bring Item Note Even if Field 4 on Global Setup is L
The user needs this feature to see Item Notes while creating an order. Currently if the Note Global setup is L in field 4, the item notes are not copied and the user cannot see them. User must open another window to see the Notes of the Item. I think this should be the setup or at least have an option to do that. I in field 4 is not a good solution because user wants to add Order Line Notes and not keep them on the Item permanently.

This feature will be difficult to implement under the current structure. As the way it is, we can only point to one type of note at a time. Therefore, in order line item screen, when a line item is brought up, you can either see the item note or line item note. We can't allow both unless we have a different system layer to handle this.
Just FYI, if you should configure for line item note in the global setup, you could still see the item note by doing the following: (1) Bring up the item in line item screen; (2) Go to field "2. Qty Order"; (3) Press F3=Stock Status; (4) press F6 in Stock Status Inquiry Screen and now you can see the Item Notes.
