Feature - Two-Location Support In Sales Desk
This feature adds twolocation support to the Sales Desk application. Two-location support is available when the following is set up in I/M Global Control:
Field 4 should be set to Y or E. Once set, the following screen will be available:
Two-location support is applicable if Item Generic Search With Total Qty Avail is set to N and at least one location is set up in the Default Locations field.
Once support is enabled, support will be available in the Sales Desk Screen Layout application:
The QTY-AVAIL and QTY-EXCESS will support the new two-location format. This is noted by the "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" instead of a numeric layout.
When in the Sales Desk application, the QTY-AVAIL and QTY-EXCESS fields will show the quantities for both locations chosen in I/M Global Control.
NOTE: The fields are subject to location security. For example, if the user only has access to one of the locations from the two-location setup, only the location with access will be displayed.
If the user chooses a location other than one of the two default locations, the screen will display quantity information for the new location.
