Q - When I try to set up a user on a terminal server, I receive the message "Not Found" when I try to bring up the utility EL850.EXE to set up the Run Local folder and icon.  See sample message below:

    System.Management.ManagementException: Not Found

Other users with Elliott 8.5 that were already set up on this terminal server receive the following message when running Elliott from Local:

  We were unable to synchronize your local version of Elliott to the Network.

  Not Found

A - EL850SY.EXE uses WMI to determine mapped drive information, and the error message indicates that there is a problem using WMI on that machine. Can you please have your IT look at the following KB article http://support.elliott.com/knowledgebase/articles/770214-receive-unable-to-validate-install-dir-exception . It includes a couple links on how to fix WMI on a machine.
