Feature - Sales Order Import Request Date Warning
Version: 8.2 and up
Previously users would control whether the message "Request Date Has Already Passed" was a warning or just a standard attention message through Global Setup-> Add-Ons-> Sales Order Import field 20, Ship Date Handling. Global Setup would prompt the user with the question "Give Warning When Ship Date Prior To Current Date?" This setting also applied to the line item request date if it was provided.
With this feature, a new option has been added that will allow the user to choose if the request date should be handled separately from the ship date if it is provided in the import file.
When accessing field 20, a window will appear and prompt the user with three questions.
Give Warning When Ship Date Prior To Current Date? - The default is N. Enter Y to treat this situation as a warning instead of an attention message.
Set Ship Date To Current Date If Import Is Blank? - The default is N.
Give Warning When Req Date Prior To Current Date? - The default is N. Enter Y to treat this situation as a warning instead of an attention message.
Set Ship Date To Current Date If Import Is Blank? - The default is N.
Give Warning When Req Date Prior To Current Date? - The default is N. Enter Y to treat this situation as a warning instead of an attention message.
Note: The number of warnings encountered is printed at the bottom of the report. A count of attention messages is not provided.
