QFor a Kit item (K), with price rollup (Y), does Elliott OE not apply price breaks to kit components?

For a Kit item (K), with price rollup (Y), will Elliott OE not apply the price code break at the line item level either?

For a Kit item (K), with price rollup (N), Post Sales by Kit Component (Y), and Kit item price <> rolled component price, how is the Kit item price allocated across the components for the sales distributions?

A - Here are our answers:

For a Kit item (K), with price rollup (Y), does Elliott OE not apply price breaks to kit components? - No. Kit components will not use price breaks. But the system will honor the sales price if the item is on sale.

For a Kit item (K), with price rollup (Y), will Elliott OE not apply the price code break at the line item level either? No. Price rollup line items will not be subject to price breaks. The system will only use the price break if the price is a rollup (N).

For a Kit item (K), with price rollup (N), Post Sales by Kit Component (Y), and Kit item price <> rolled component price, how is the Kit item price allocated across the components for the sales distributions? The system will prorate each component based on its price (from component’s item price or item sales price.) Any rounding errors will be adjusted (1) to the first component; (2) if there are still leftovers from (1), the adjustment will be made to the remaining in Global Setup -> Cop-Func -> Post Invoice To A/R -> 11. Super Kit Sales Distribution Rounding Account.  This can happen if the first component item quantity per is not divisible (e.g., quantity = 3.)
