Feature - Added "Print Labels" Function to Production Order Entry Screens
Release date: 1/29/2021
Version 8.5 & Up
This project added "Print labels" functions to all three Production Order Entry functions
In Global Setup -> System -> Barcode printing setup, fields 24-26 have been added for the Work Order Label Print function, see below. To enable printing of labels during Production Order Entry, enter "Y" in field 24. After tabbing off the field, the label setup window will appear and will allow up to six fields to be chosen. Those fields are listed in the three windows that follow this screen. Select "No More" when you have completed your selections.
Enter a value in field 25 from the following:
A = Automatic Label Qty (print number of labels based on order quantity)
S = Trx Qty / Item User Amt (print number of labels based on order quantity divided by the value in the Item User Amount field)
M = Manual Enter (print number of labels based on a value entered on the "Print Label" screen)
For field 26, enter the path and file name that will hold the label data.
During work order entry (Plus, Material, or Legacy), a new function has been added:"Print Label."
When "Print Label" is selected, the following window will appear:
Enter a "Starting Order No," press Enter for "All." Enter "Ending Order" No if needed.
Enter a "Starting Customer," press Enter for "All." Enter "Ending Customer" if needed.
For "Print Duplicate Label," enter "N" if duplicate labels are allowed.
If the "Label Quantity" field is present, you may enter the number of labels desired. This field will only appear if field 25 in Barcode Label setup is set to "M."
Please note that whether a production work order will be printed with label is determined by its item's product category. See the flag "4. Barcode Label Needed ?" in sample screen below:
For this reason, item without product category will not print work order label.
