Q - We have an issue with the Transfer Batch Number repeating  and, at times, the control number is not incrementing. This does not happen always, but often enough to be concerning. For example, when batch #s R03955 and R03956 were assigned on March 22 and again the same batch numbers on March 23. 

A - The logic in Inventory Transfer is to REUSE the same batch number when available. When batches R03955 and R03956 were processed on March 22 and posted, those batch numbers were available to assign next time and therefore duplicated. This is an expected behavior.
