For Non Multi-bin Users

In Global Setup -> Cop-Func -> Pick/Pact Ticket/Ship Label, a new Global Setup flag has been added:

                50. Print Pick Ticket if Qty On Hand <= 0?         Y/N (Default “Y”)

If the answer is set to “N,” then during pick ticket printing, the application will look at the item or inventory location’s qty (depending on the order’s location). If any one of the line item's quantity on hand is less than or equal to zero, then the application will not print the pick ticket for this order. 

Also, when the pick ticket starting order number = ending order number and the order is not qualified to print for whatever reason, that reason is printed so the user can find out why the pick ticket is not printed.

 

For Multi-bin Users

If the above Global Setup flag is set to “N” and the user is using multi-bin, a popup a window will prompt the user for the following:

                Should Qty Reside in Non-Special Bins? Y/N (Default “N”)

                Special Bin 1

                Special Bin 2

                Special Bin 3

                Special Bin 4

                Special Bin 5

If the first flag is set to “Y,” the user can enter up to 5 Special Bins, such as the receiving or put-away bin. If flag 50 = “N,” and flag “Should Qty Reside in Non-Special Bins” = “Y,” then during the pick ticket printing if multi-bin is used, in addition to the Zero Qty exclusion check logic, the application will also check the bins of the location’s inventory. The system must have qty OH in bins other than these 5 special bins. If so, the line item is qualified. Otherwise, the line item is not qualified, and the whole order is not qualified.
