Feature - Mass Fill BO by Batch Trial Fill with System Date + or - Number of Days Option
Version: 8.5 & Up
This enhancement applies to COP -> Processing -> Fill Backorders -> Mass -> By Batch -> Mass -> Process -> Trial Fill, the system prompt for "2. Cut-off Date." In the past, it supports either a specific date, or "All" if the user presses Enter on that field. In this enhancement, the user can press the F1 key at the field "2. Cut-off Date" field, which means to the user "System Date." In addition, the system will prompt the user to enter the number of days to adjust. See sample screen below:
- Zero: The user can enter value zero, which means to use the system date.
- Positive: The user can enter a positive value. That means to use the system date + ??? days (in the future). For example, entering a value of +7 instructs the system to make the cut-off date one week later.
- Negative: The user can enter a negative value. That means to use the system date - ??? days (in the past). For example, entering a value of -365 instructs the system to make the cut-off date 1 year ago.
The primary purpose of this enhancement is to allow users to run Mass Fill BO Trial Fill through deferred processing. The following is a sample of the report legend:
- Cut-off Date: 99/99/99 - The user enters a specific cut-off date.
- Cut-off Date: 99/99/99 (System Date) - The user chooses F1=System Date and uses 0 for adjustment.
- Cut-off Date: 99/99/99 (System Date) + 999 Day(s) - The user chooses F=System Date and uses +999 days for adjustment. (Same principle for minus example.)
- For All Dates - The user presses Enter for "All."
