Feature - Transfer History Inquiry & Drill Down from BOMP Work Order Inquiry

Release date: 4/22/2022
Version: 8.5 and Up

Elliott Inventory Transfer Processing was added for multi-bin processing purposes. Since the very beginning of this function, when a transfer batch is completed and posted, the data is moved to the history.  But there's no user interface to access the history transfer information.  We are now adding the ability to access Inventory Transfer History.  In addition, the Transfer History can be directly drilled down to from BOMP Work Order Inquiry.

Transfer History Inquiry
The primary way to access Transfer History is through the "IM / Processing / Inventory Transfer Management"  task.  Select "History."

Enter FromLoc, ToLoc, Transit Loc (if applicable), Type, and Starting Ref.  The Starting Ref field will be used to screen the records. Up to 15 characters may be entered in the Starting Ref field. In the example below, records with the first 4 positions of the History file Reference field matching the M049 will be included (up to a maximum of 5,000 records).

Type: The possible values are:
  • M = Material Transfer (from BOMP Work Order). The "Reference" will be "M....." where "M" means material order or "P" means plus work order, etc.
  • P = Parent Transfer (from BOMP Work Order). The "Reference" is the same as above.
  • S = Sales Order Shipping. The "Reference" is the sales order number.
  • R = PO Receiving. The "Reference" is the PO number including the release number (total of 8 digits).
