How to Find Out Total Standard BOMP Cost for All Parent Items
Version: 8.2 & Up
Q - Is there a way to run a report from Elliott that shows the total standard BOM costs for all our parent items? Instead of going one by one and running each BOM?
A - Please use the following procedure and example:
- You may run "Print costed of bill material" from BOMP/Processing (see screen example parameter below, include Routing) to CSV file.
- You may eliminate "blank" row from column AT (as shown below).
- Example: Sheet "bomcost" is detail. Sheet "Summary" is after eliminating the "blank" row from column AT.
- Example: Print parent item from F1111 to F3333, column AS (ParentOrgCost) = Item Standard Cost (field # 26), column AT (ParentNewCost) = new calculation from BOM.
- Example: Parent item # F1111, original standard cost = $1280.44, new calculation from BOM = $1291.46
Below is the sample of "Print Costed Bill of Material" with export to CSV option.

Bring up the CSV in Excel and follow the steps above to get your final result similar to the below example:
