Feature - Change Sales Order From Incomplete to Complete Status Event

A new event has been added that, when active, detects when an incomplete order for a specific customer has been made into a complete order. Accordingly, the event type is abbreviated as INCTOCOM. This new event can be accessed in Accounts Receivable > Maintenance > Customer File in the Events program.




The variables included for this event are shown below:



This event is relevant in the case of a crash or a power failure while Elliott users are in the middle of entering a customer order in Customer Order Processing > Processing > Order Entry. More specifically, they are past the Order Header Entry screen and are currently in the Line Item Entry screen:



In the event of a crash or power failure while entering line item orders, upon restarting Elliott and going to Customer Order Processing > Processing > Order Entry, if the Elliott user attempts to finish the same order they started before the crash or power failure, they will be presented with the option to move the incomplete order to complete.



Upon clicking 'Yes', the INCTOCOM event will trigger.
