Report Disk: Hiding All Report Desk Reports for a User

Background

Report Desk allows Elliott users to have new, customizable reports. While this is generally beneficial, not all users will want to take advantage of this feature. This article describes how any individual user can specify that they only want legacy reports, effectively hiding all Report Desk reports.

Hiding Report Desk Reports

If a user has the ability to run Report Desk, selecting a menu option to produce a report could bring up a list of reports like the following:


If you want to hide all Elliott Report Desk reports going forward, press the Setup toolbar button at the top left of the Control Center to bring up Setup/Preferences.  On the Misc. tab, press the LegacyOnly Settings... button:


This will bring up the following dialog:


Check the Hide all Report Desk Reports checkbox and click the OK button and then the Save button on the Setup/Preferences dialog to complete the change.

To unhide Report Desk reports, follow the same procedure except you must uncheck the checkbox.
