Can I Delete a Ship-To Location in COP?

Q - Does it cause an integrity issue if we delete a ship-to and go back to using the customer file address only? They have some customers who never needed a ship-to but one had been added when they first started using Elliott.
A - Let me break it down with the following scenarios:
- If the ship-to has never been used in Order Entry, then it should be OK to delete it.
- If the ship-to has open orders, then you can’t delete it.
- If the ship-to has historical records like invoice history, there may be some minor consequences with reporting after deleting it, especially if you have Crystal Report that has the ship-to part of the joint. But generally speaking, this is not a serious issue.
