Feature - Allow or Suppress Users' Right to See $ Amounts on Open Order Status Reports
Version: 8.5 and up
Background
This feature is an update to the Order Status Reports feature. Order Status Reports are located in Customer Order Processing > Report > Order Status Reports. For more information, click here.
Feature
The new feature allows an administrator/supervisor to decide who can see sensitive dollar values inside an Order Status Report. When set up, up to 20 Elliott users can see dollar values on Order Status Reports, and all other users cannot. This feature works for all Order Status Reports, whether the user is printing by Item, by Product Category, by Customer, or by Ship-to.
Below is a sample report in which dollar values are suppressed. Red boxes indicate where dollar values would be if a user was authorized to see them.
Setup
Go to System Utilities > Utility > Global Setup. Access cop-Func > print order/quote/rmA. Go to screen 2 by pressing Enter and access field 26, "Can All users See $Amt on Ord Sys by Cust Rpt?". Set the flag to "N" to suppress dollar values except for authorized users. When setting the flag to "N", the following screen will pop up.
Up to 20 users can be authorized to see dollar information on Order Status Reports. The user SUPERVISOR is allowed to see dollar information by default.
