Microsoft Query Is Missing on Excel After Office 365 Update

Q: We use Microsoft Query extensively to retrieve data from Elliott database.  After the last update for Office 365, my Microsoft Query is missing on Excel. How can I recover this feature?

A: The solution is to go to the top menu FILE > OPTION > DATA >  and click the checkbox labeled From Microsoft Query (Legacy) under the Show Legacy data import wizards section. See screenshot below.

After turning on Legacy Microsoft Query, you may see the option Microsoft Query on Get Data > Legacy Wizards.
