What Is Btrieve Error 010 on IMINVLOC Inv Location File?

Q - I received an error message when trying to post PO warehouse receiving:
EL860P: Btrieve Error 010 on IMINVLOC Inv Location File (32-Bit)10: The key field is not modifiable

A - If you replicate this problem, then when the message “EL860P: Btrieve Error 010 on IMINVLOC Inv Location File (32-Bit)” “10: The key field is not modifiable” message shows up agai click on the “Detail” button. You should see a list window like the following:

Make sure you scroll all the way to the end. Then capture this screen and send us a copy for further analysis.
Typically, Error 010 occurs when the system is expecting a record to exist. In this case, it is the Inventory Location Control (IMINVLOC) record. It appears the particular item is not stocked at a particular location, which is causing this error to happen. It probably can be resolved by adding the corresponding inventory location record.
