Feature - Buyer's Desk Avg DOS Range and Lead Time Filter Criteria
Revised Date: 10/14/24
Version: 8.5 and Above
This feature added a new filter criteria to the two-location version of Buyer's Desk. The option "Starting/Ending Lead Time" allows the user to choose if items should be filtered based on a the item's planning lead time. If the planning lead time is not defined in the Item Master file, the product category will be used as the filter criteria.
14.
Starting/Ending Lead Time. The default is zero, which means 'All' lead times. If a starting lead time is entered, the ending lead time must be equal to or greater than the starting lead time.
The lead time (either item planning lead time or the product category lead time) is not displayed on the Item Review screen.
An Average DOS range has also been added. If an Avg DOS/Mon Value is entered on the filter criteria screen and the Avg of # of Month is less than 12 but greater than 2 -- for example if the value is 6 -- then the application will display two lines: 6M AvgDOS and 7-12M AvgDOS. If no value is entered for the
Avg DOS/Mon filter criteria, then the application will display two lines: 3M AvgDOS and 4-12M AvgDOS but the application will not filter on this value.
Note: If both the Avg DOS/Mon Value and the Avg of # of Month are entered with a value of zero, the application will not calculate the 3M AvgDOS and 4-12M AvgDOS so
and they will not be available in the CSV export or on the Item Review screen.
The average DOS and average DOS month range are now supported in the CSV export option that is available from the Item List screen.
