BM1400S1 Bill of Material Reset Low Level Codes
Reset Low Level Codes
Application Overview
Reset Low Level Codes application resets the Low Level Codes for all items in the Inventory Item file.
After the operator has answered that you are sure you wish to do this, the processing takes place as a separate task detached from the terminal.
This application may consume a considerable amount of time and excludes other users from the use of the Inventory Item file.
This application should be run any time there is any question about the validity of the Low Level Codes in the Inventory Item file. Items, which have been part of a product structure record, will ordinarily have been given a Low Level Code greater than zero. If the product structure record is subsequently deleted, the items will remain in the Inventory Item file without having their Low Level Codes reset to zero. If these items are then added to a new product structure record without resetting the Low Level Codes, the Low Level Codes may end up higher than they should be. Incorrect Low Level Codes can create errors in adding product structure records.
