Transition an Item to Obsolete
Currently, if an item is marked as obsolete, then we don't allow our users to sell it. This is done through Global Setup -> Cop-Func -> Order Line Item Screen, flag "7. Allow Entry For Obsolete Item in COP Line Item".
However, in many situations, we may still have inventory left and we still want to sell them before totally obsolete it. Therefore, we need to keep the item as "A" (Active). But in the mean time, we need to prevent the purchasing of this item. We can't warn the user if the item stay as "A" (Active).
Can we…

Order Header Ship Date Change Event
Unless I cannot find it, there is no event that fires when the ship date for an order is changed. This would be very beneficial as this important piece of historical information is not recorded anywhere.
4 votescompleted · AdminEdward M. Kwang - NETcellent System, Inc. (CEO / Founder, NETcellent Systems, Inc.) respondedAs we had discussed the reason for this request with Aaron is because currently, when user change the order ship date, even thought that cause the mass update of line item promise date, but system does not update line item audit trail. We now had made a change to create line item audit trail record to address this issue. The update will be available in the next Elliott release.

Create function to see all applied payments to an order in Order Inquiry
In order inquiry, you can see if the amount due on an order is zero or not equal to the order total, but you cannot see what payments caused it to change. After accessing an order in Order Inquiry, there should be a function on the billing screen to view all applied payments on an order. Currently, the only way to view the payments is to access the Prepay window on the billing screen in Order Entry.

Do not allow Serialized Items to be received without serial numbers present
We have had the situation occur where bad data allowed a serialized item to be received without serial numbers being present. We do not know what caused the bad warehouse receiving data. Globally, a check should be put in place to stop the receiving of a serialized item if there are no, or not enough, serial numbers associated with the receiving.
3 votescompleted · AdminEdward M. Kwang - NETcellent System, Inc. (CEO / Founder, NETcellent Systems, Inc.) respondedWe had changed the warehouse receiving edit list and posting to perform integrity check to ensure the total number of serial number match the quantity to be received. The changes will be available in the next Elliott revision update.

Add Salesman Column to Open Order by Customer CSV Export
Currently, there's no way to export open order by salesman report to CSV. On the other hand, there's the option to export op[en order by customer report to CSV. The issue is the Salesman column is not in this CSV export. I suggest to add the salesman column to Open Order by Customer CSV export, before the PO# column. This way, the same CSV export can be used as by Customer, by Item, By Salesman depend on how you choose to sort in the spreadsheet.

Age Affected Customer Accounts When Posting Cash Receipts
When posting a Cash Receipt batch, age the affected customer accounts so that the period values are consistent with the rest of the customers account. This would make sure that the customer's credit data is consistent at almost all times.
This inconsistency leads to confusion by non-credit departments in reading a customer's account as the periods do not line up with payments made, last payment date, customer balance, etc... Customers that can see this data on a website or portal will also be viewing inconsistent data which can lead to confusion.
This data is inconsistent until an account statement is…

Utility to Reset AP Vendor Amount Paid Year to Day (YTD) and Last Year
Currently, there are utility to reset AR customer sales PTD, YTD and Last Year. But there's no utility to reset AP vendor amount paid year to day (YTD) and last year. We need vendor amount paid year to day or last year to print 1099. But sometime we have difficulty with closing a year at exactly the year end. We may still wait for invoices that's not received yet past the new year day. Thus can't clear the vendor's YTD and Last Year accumulator at the right time. This utility will give us the flexibility. For this utility, the YTD…

Allow Access to Customer eContacts from Customer Account Inquiry and Summary
After pulling up a customer’s AR items in Customer Account Inquiry or Summary, there is no way to access the customer’s eContacts.
If you use the F12 shortcut or click the toolbar icon, it pulls up the eContacts for that specific open item. Can we toggle it so that the eContacts for the customer are accessed instead?
There is a F4 function key for the Notes already to address this for the customer.
The next logical step seems to be to add one for the eContacts.
Keeping the default standard Elliott shortcuts for the Notes and eContacts would be preferable…

Restricted option to prevent selling below minimum price setting
We appreciate the warning when selling below the minimum selling price but there should be an option in the Global set up to lock this option in or still allow sellers to continue after they are warned. I understand its an internal management function but it would really save us time and money in the long run, it would be a valuable function for Elliott and something that we need. Please

Bank Book to allow print both Summary and Detail when pressing F1
When the reconciliation is completed user is prompted to press F1 to complete the process. Elliott then prompts the user to print Summary OR Detail report but not both. The system should allow to print Both and this should be the default (or change the BB Setup for the default as N, D, S, B). Currently all my BB users exit the processing, go to the reports, print both Summary and Detail and then go to the processing to complete the reconciliation by press F1.

Support Paid Invoices on Expanded Aging Report
On A/R -> Reports -> Aging Reports -> Expanded, it currently does not support printing items that's fully paid. On the other hand, in the regular aging report, it supports the following prompt:

Can this prompt be added to the Expanded Aging Report?

Disable Open Credit Field in COP Payment Window
In COP Payment Window, there's a field "Open Credit" which currently is enabled all the time. Some users would like to disable this field for the salesman and only enable it for accounts receivable.
Therefore, it is suggested to introduce a global user security flag to control the permission to access "Open Credit" field. For salesman who does not have the access to "Open Credit" field, it still might be desirable to remind them that open credit exist for the customers.
2 votescompleted · AdminEdward M. Kwang - NETcellent System, Inc. (CEO / Founder, NETcellent Systems, Inc.) respondedThis change is done. See the KB article http://support.elliott.com/knowledgebase/articles/1163419-feature-restrict-access-to-the-open-credit-field for more detail. This function is already in the latest Elliott release.

Enter Salesman 2 and 3 with 0% (Zero Percent)
In order entry or sales desk, currently Elliott systems allow up to 3 salesman. Each salesman will need to have a percentage split with total 3 salesman percentage add up to 100%.
In some situations, it may be desirable to enter salesman 1 with 100% and salesman 2 and 3 with 0% for referencing purpose. In many cases, the commission needs to be handled outside of Elliott. As long as the system can provide the reference of all salesman on the order, the information can then be retrieve by tools like Crystal Report.
Let us know if this is something…

Allow to Add Notes When Adding BOMP Work Orders
We need to show work order notes during printing work order. At this moment, you can add work order notes during change or inquire of the work order.
However, when I am adding a work order in BOMP module, systems do not allow me to add the notes at the same time. I must complete the work order first and go to the change mode before I can add notes to this work order. That's not convenient.
Can you change work order processing so I can add notes to the work order during the adding of that work order?

Add Minimum Price Support to Future Price Processing
We use future price processing extensively. We love the new feature you added for "minimum price" in the item master file. But "minimum price" is not supported in Future Price Processing. We like to update future price with minimum price together. Is that possible?

After 3 months of testing Windows 10 with both Elliott V7.5 and 8.0, we have not found any additional issues comparing to previous Windows OS. Therefore, you can go ahead upgrade to Windows 10.
You may face PSQL issue.
(1) We tested PSQL 12 and there’s no issue with Windows 10.
(2) We tested PSQL 11 and found the workgroup engine has some issue with Windows 10.
(3) We did not test PSQL 8 – 10 since Actian (Pervasive) no longer support those versions so we can’t support those version either. We suspect you will have some sort of problems with those older version. -
Add Mass Receiving Feature to Warehouse Receiving Processing
